How it works

Register

  • This is a very good copy of Constable's first Colonial edition

The author was perhaps the most brilliant of the Boer generals; he wrote the book on the sea passage to London and had it published in the same year, declaring, however, that he was responsible only for his original Dutch manuscript, and not for the English or any other translation

Red cloth-boards with gilt lettering to the spine and upper panel, plain endpapers, 520 pp of prelims, b/w-illustrated text, and index
