To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, first British edition 1960, Heineman, London.

Dust jacket has a slight tear to the top and the bottom of the spine and slight scuffing at the edges. ( dust jacket has been price clipped. ) Slight discolouration/ age tanning to edges of pages.

The iconic classic "To Kill a Mockingbird.' with the father undertaking the defense of Tom Robinson, a Negro, charged with raping a young white girl, Mayella Ewell.

Together the Finch family has to face opposition from the close knit community.

The violent nature of the trial becomes less ugly, when descibed as seen through the eyes of the children.
