A very good copy indeed.

A hunting trip in 1875 through the Transvaal and Matabeleland with the Victoria Falls in mind as the ultimate destination. Major Stabb was an officer of the 32nd Regiment (Duke of Cornwall's) Light Infantry, stationed in King William's Town. He was accompanied on the trip by Capt. Glascott of the same regiment. Departing with a wagon drawn by a span of twelve oxen they were well equipped for travel and hunting. Major Stabb kept an accurate diary, recording all that befell them on their eventful trip.
