Original dust jackets. Both volumes are bound in dark green simulated leather rexine boards with gilt titling on the spines and the upper boards. The volumes are paginated continuously to page 597. Volume 1 has xv prelims, and Vol. 2 has 10 prelims. Colour and black and white maps, and profusely illustrated with fine full colour photographic plates. CONDITION DETAILS: The previous owner covered both volumes with plastic. These plastic covers were removed, but left tape residue marks on the end papers. Book seller's label on each front paste down. The dust jackets have some edge wear. The tops and bottoms of the spines of the dust jackets have a bit of wear.
