Trois Annees de Chasse au Mozambique (1909)

Decorative green cloth-boards, gilt to spine. Matching printed endpapers. [iii] + 190 pp of text, appendix (details of the author's [and his wife's] 2106 kills [including 23 lions and 21 leopards], weapons used and total number of shells/cartridges fired) and lists of contents and illustrations (at the back) + 32 inserted plates from photographs + folding map.

The covers are rubbed at the extremities. The endpapers are cracked, with all 6 internal hinges visible; however, play is limited to the bottom rear hinge and the binding has not noticeably loosened. The text and map are uniformly sunned, in contrast to the plates, which have retained their whiteness. There is an owner name on the half-title page, but no other markings.
