[ESTC S107449; STC 14308]; The Third Booke of Commentaries vpon the Apostles Creede, contayning the blasphemous positions of Iesuites and other later Romanists. London: by William Stansby, and are to be sold by Iohn Budge, 1614. ESTC S107489; STC 14315. Two works in three ‘books’ bound in one volume (as issued), small quarto (8 ½ x 6 ¼ inches; 216 x 159mm). Early blank bound between the two volumes. (F3 in the second work re-inserted but with damage to the upper and outer margins [no loss of text], old wormtrack to inner blank margin of L1-P4 in the second work, some light old soiling to title of the second work [see images]). Moderrn calf by Starr Bookworks, tooled in blind, lettered in gilt. Provenance: J.D. (inscription to title of second work, signed with initials).

The first three of Jackson’s Commentaries on the Apostle’s Creed: rare on the market. None for sale, none listed as having sold by Rare Book Hub.
