The text paper changes halfway through the book from a bright white coated stock to an off-white stock which tends to foxing. There is a damp stain at top right of the front cover and the first two leaves. The free endpapers are sunned.
This is an exceptionally interesting centenary publication, with the advertising being as fascinating as the text.
