A complete newspaper (32 pp.) issued between the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, August 6 and 9, respectively.  Multiple stories and illustrations covering the bombing of Hiroshima, most echoing the threat of a 2nd bombing if Japan refused to surrender.  "FIRST enemy city - first city in the world - to feel the cosmic force of the atomic bomb - is shown in this reconnaissance view before the attack. City has or had 318,000 population and was an arsenal.”  But the daily doings of Americans in 1945 still fills most of the paper– movies, food articles, gossip, sports, etc.

Very good condition; sone toning along edges.
