These rare and astounding photographs were taken by daring members of the British Airforce in their Spitfires as part of the reconnaissance manoeuvres preparing for the D-day Invasions during WWII.
Six black and white photographs (all printed with the serial number AC95641412444V14), measuring 13.5 x 14cm. First photo not numbered, after which 0005, 0022, 0029, 0037. The last of which (0037) also marked with an "A" on the back in blue pencil.
