Unrecorded, although Cambridge University have a copy, which was incorrectly recorded (catchword on p.1 is ‘clipping’) and has 2 more pages than the three other variants: so, not ESTC R233524; R5389; or R498382. NB There is a copy of 'Clipping' (ESTC R498382) for sale for just over $1300. In the 17th century, clipping was the illegal shaving or cutting of small slivers from the edges of gold or silver coins. The clippings were accumulated and melted for their bullion value, while the lightened coins were passed at their original face value; it was therefore a form of fraud akin to counterfeiting, and in England could be treated as a very serious—sometimes capital—offence
