The remarkable story of Isabel de Quintanilla who left a privileged life in Valencia in the 1960’s and followed the man of her dreams, Tony Sanchez Arino, to Africa. Enduring harsh conditions and often extreme discomfort, she became an elephant hunter. In spite of a dangerous bout of malaria and Dengeu fever, she remained at her husband’s side and together they formed a hugely successful safari business, hunting in some of the most remote parts of Africa.
She has been one 125 safaris all over Africa, in Spanish Guinea, Cameroon, Gabon, Chad, Congo, Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
