Condition: Very Good. Boards show slight shelf wear. Hinges and spines are strong and in excellent condition. Internally, pages are clean and unmarked, with light toning to free endpapers. Includes a small, tasteful previous owner's stamp on the first page of each volume.

This is a 1964 facsimile reproduction of the rare 1883 three-volume set originally compiled by J.W. Sauer and published by W.A. Richards & Sons. It is an essential primary source collection of 19th-century official documents, correspondence, and traveler accounts detailing Basutoland (Lesotho) history and British-Basuto relations prior to annexation.
