"We were informed that the Itinerary, now completed in every detail, comprised visits to all the principal Mining centres in the Union of South Africa, as well as many famous places of scenic beauty. We were to see the Diamond Mines at Kimberley, the Gold Mines and Works of the Witwatersrand, the Gold, Diamond, Platinum, Coal, Asbestos and Copper Mining districts in the Transvaal and the Sabie Game Reserve.

The Rhodesian tour was to include the Victoria Falls, one of the grandest natural sights of the world, and the mysterious Zimbabwe Ruins were also to be visited. Further the principal Gold, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Asbestos and Coal Mines in Rhodesia had a prominent place in the programme. The Coalfields of Natal were to be exploited and incidentally some of the beauty spots of that province and the Port of Durban were all included in the programme of daily events."
