A very collectable copy of the 1st Edition of this 1940 Wodehouse title in the Colonial issue dw. which is identical to the regular 1st issue dw. as described in the Heinemann bibliography apart from the Colonial Library logo on the spine in place of the 7/6 price logo. A clean very good plus copy in the original orange cloth with black lettering which is clean and bright apart from a small patch of fading at the top of the spine under the small dustwrapper chip. There is some light offsetting to the endpapers, otherwise this is a clean unmarked copy with no foxing whatsoever. The dustwrapper is unclipped and has light edgewear with a small 15 x 7mm. chip at the top of the spine not affecting the title.
