4. [Washington IRVING]. The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon... Author's Revised Edition. With original designs by F. O. C. Darley. New York: 1849. Large octavo. Plates, illustrations. Dark brown morocco gilt, covers with beveled edges and a central sunken oval with a green gilt-tooled onlay, gilt turn-ins, cream glazed endpapers, gilt and gauffered edges (scuffed and rubbed, stitching of one gathering loose). Provenance: Gordon Dexter (armorial bookplate).
