Only 10,000 copies printed and published by the Beira and Mashonland and Rhodesia Railways. Foreword by Sir Charles Coghlan (Rhodesia's First Premier).

The Preface states, "The First Edition of "The Guide to Rhodesia," published by the Beira and Mashonaland and Rhodesia Railways, is now exhausted, and in response to a very considerable demand the " Guide" is re-issued, in a second edition of 10,000 copies.

It has been carefully revised and brought up-to-date with the object of providing a comprehensive yet concise survey of the Colony of Southern Rhodesia, its history, topography, climate, health conditions and natural resources, with an outline of the possibilities for the investor, the farmer, and the tourist and sportsman...

The plan of the book is to indicate generally the facts and circumstances and to quote the authorities and publications from which all detailed information may be obtained. The full index will, doubtless, be found useful."

Photos provided reflect the condition in addition to the above description.
