A South African Bibliography vol. 3 page 627: Extracts from letters to his wife, written by Lt.-Col. Park of the Devonshire Regiment, during the siege of Ladysmith. Last letter dated 11th March 1900. They contain some lively descriptions of the siege, including the part he and his men played in repulsing a boer attack on Caesar's Camp and Waggon Hill, during which they incurred heavy loss of life.
