Claps intact.

Some wear to boards, spot of soiling and some scoring to rear board, edgewear to boards, light foxing throughout. Well bound.

Full-leather hardcover binding, gilt lettering and inlays on spine and front board. All edges gilt. Rebound copy. Fine woodcut illustrations throughout. 159 full-page plates. Condition: Good. Slight sunning to spine, minor scuffing to spine and boards, binder’s sticker on front pastedown, previous owner’s bookplate on verso of front endpaper. Light foxing throughout, some splitting to gutters between some pages. Overall still well bound.
All three books are printed in the old German ‘Fraktur’ typeface.
