All page edges red and gauffered in gilt; Text in French; Collation complete - False title, [1], Frontispiece, Chromolithograph title page, Title page, 734 pages, with 3 B&W engraved plates; Full leather binding is tight and firm, overall in very good condition, with minor rubbing and surface scuffings to the extremities, minor discolouration, corners bumped. Metal clasps fully functional and well preserved, strong and fully functional, with some patina. Pages/Text block in very good condition, very bright and clear, no marks throughout, occasional light foxing mostly to white margins, minor tanning/yellowing. Overall the condition of the book is VERY GOOD.
