by His Honor Colonel John Hare, Lieutenant-Governor of the Eastern Division of the Colony of the Cape of Good Hope.
In the Name and on behalf of Her Majesty VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen, Defender of the Faith.
WHEREAS the Civil Commissioner for Graaff Reynett duly authorized, did cause to be publicly sold certain Land situate in the Fieldcornetcy of Op Sneeuberg in the Division of Graaff Reynett. I do hereby cede and transfer unto Thomas Arnoldus Theron the said Land containing Three hundred and One Morgen & Seventy Square Roods purchased by him for the sum of One Pound Ten Shillings Sterling.
Adjoining on the North & South East the farm named Wolvekloof of Ths Arnoldus Theron, and on the West North West the Farm named Rietfontein.
Given under my Hand and Seal, at Graham's Town, Cape of Good Hope, this 22nd Day of July 1840.
