First edition of this embroidery book for children with delightful illustrations by Mabel Lucie Attwell, famous illustrator of Peter Pan and Wendy

Illustrations feature Attwell's beloved Boo-Boos: popular characters which appeared on various merchandise such as tea sets etc. during the 1920s and 30s. This charming book encourages and educates children to make their own Attwell merchandise.   

Original color pictorial boards. Illustrated in color and black and white. 12 pages. 8.75'' x 6.5''

Condition: Good-fair. Binding loose. Some age discolouration and toning on pages.

Inscribed and dated 1922

Cover bright and clean. Bumped edges

Fold-out embroidery silk is intact with all colours present and unused.

Fold out at the back (Weldon's transfers) with one of the (of the six) embroidery iron-on squares present
