Original red cloth; Collation complete - Title page, lxxii, 872 pages, [3] pages including adverts, further adverts interleaved; Binding is tight and firm, worn as usual for the age, boards and spine rubbed, cloth little tarnished, spine and boards extremities bumped. Text block/pages in very good condition, extremities of pages yellowed, but clean and very bright without foxing throughout except pages 445-470 which are wrinkly and affected by foxing. A few front and rear adverts pages also affected with foxing. Folding plates are whole and clean, overall in excellent condition for the age (see photographs).
