A former owner of the Philadelphia Phillies ball club, Carpenter describes his big game hunts in the Salmon River Canyon of Idaho for elk and mule deer; and his expedition to Alaska's Wood River for grizzly bear and bighorn sheep. Original, blue cloth with gilt titles blocked in brown, cloth a little soiled. Original endpapers age-tone but firm. Faint moisture bleed to extreme top edge. Well illustrated with photo plates. Limited to 400 numbered copies. A tight, square copy of an uncommon title.
