'This study covers the overprints of South West Africa up to and including 1930, but the 'Official' stamps go up to 1955 when their use was officially terminated. Most of the varieties described are illustrated. The Postage dues describe some of the errors on the basic stamps and a number but not all of the overprint varieties. These varieties are a study on their own.' - author's Preface
