Theodore Roosevelt, mostly known for his Presidency of the United States of America, was an avid explorer, hunter, and naturalist. Through the Brazilian Wilderness gives a thorough description of his expedition into the jungles of Brazil as a part of the Roosevelt-Rondon Scientific Expedition. It notes the discovery of plants and animals, exotic findings, hunting and wildlife. This account is illustrated with more than 50 photographs taken by Kermit Roosevelt and other expedition members.
