'In the present issue of the Chamber's Report the order of printing has been altered in some respects.

The first portion of the volume is occupied by the Report of the Executive Committee, which was presented to members at the Annual Meeting, together with the Presidential Address.

Appendix I contains the general correspondence bearing upon the more important subjects dealt with in the Executive Committee's Report.

Appendix II contains verbatim reports of the Monthly General Meetings of the Chamber, the Annual Report of the Witwatersrand Native Labour Association, sundry reports, statistics and diagrams relating to Gold Production.

The map of the Transvaal formerly published showing the gold-bearing belts has been enlarged and now comprises diamond and coal areas. A plan showing farms included in the Witwatersrand Mining District and the Beacon Inspector's Divisions has been added.' - from the introduction

Includes, among numerous others, sections on Native and Chinese labour, Gold output, Dividend lists, raw gold exported, coal companies, Transvaal diamond output, lists of the districts of the Witwatersrand monthly total averages, a fold-out plan of the various Farms in the Witwatersrand mining district and the Beacon Inspector's Divisions etc.
