The author spent time on safari in Africa accompanied by his guide and professional elephant hunter turned poacher Fernie (identified on page 3 of the foreword as Alan Tarleton, but not sure if this is in Mazet's hand). They travelled and hunted in the Somalia, Kenya borderlands. Original cloth with gilt titles. Original endpapers firm and tight. Illustrated with photo plates. Crease to corner of one plate. Inscribed and signed by the author.
