SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York. - Mayor James D. MCNULTY and others.
A collection of correspondence, tradesmen's bills (including printers and newspapers), cancelled checks, check books, records of savings accounts. [circa 1905 - 1920], including a group of letters from McNulty to his wife describing a trip to Washington, DC in the Fall of 1918, apparently in search of a Federal appointment in Saratoga Springs. All in a single early file box (a lot).
McNulty did achieve some local political success: he served as Mayor of Saratoga Springs between 1920 and 1923.
