8vo; olive-green cloth, lettered in gilt on spine and upper cover, with pictorial onlay to upper cover; endpaper map; Hosken bookplate to front free endpaper verso; pp. (xiv) + xi + (i) + 286 + publisher's catalogue; plates with captioned tissue guards. Backstrip a little frayed at tail, with title gilt dulled; corners slightly turned, and cloth a touch rubbed; discreet archival tape reinforcing to gutter between front endpaper and flyleaf; short, closed tear to top edge of front free endpaper; occasional fox spot. Very good condition.
