In two volumes. An excellent anthology of big game hunting exploits in Africa, India, North America, Central Asia, and the Arctic by a bevy of Victoria-era writer-hunters including W. Cotton Oswell, Frederick Selous, St. George Littledale, Sir Samuel Baker, and others. Well illustrated with full-page plates and text drawings. Scattered foxing in both volumes. Normal edge wear. Original endpapers. A very good set. This is a mixed set of the standard edition of Big Game Shooting. Volume 1 is 1894 first edition, while volume 2 is the 1903 new edition. Matched publisher's bindings. Due to extra weight, international postage from the U.S. will be more.
