Rare, and fun: the diaries in particular have an immediacy that is often missing from printed versions of events.

Pp.[1-]4-20.  (Some light silverfish damage to foremargins).  Original wrappers (split and detached along backstrip, some silverfish damage to covers). *Frank Hatton, of whom great things were expected, 'shot himself by accident'. His father, journalist Joseph Hatton, suspected that his son's guides may have murdered him, but they were vindicated.
