Forbes and Hanley. [Weymouth: 1857]. Octavo. Green paper wrappers (staple stab holes, creasing and light damage to lower wrapper), loose within cream paper wrappers. Provenance: Mr. Bernardi (inscription to upper cover).

2.[Edward  CHARLESWORTH]. Catalogue of British Marine Recent Shells. [London: 1852?]. Stapled within cream paper wrappers. ‘Compiled from the beautiful work on “British Mollusca and their Shells,” by … Forbes, and … Hanley’ [p.3]. OCLC 31832458 (dates this work to 1856).

3.Robert DAWSON. Catalogue of the Mollusca of the Counties of Aberdeen, Banff, & Moray, and the neighbourimh seas. A paper communicated to the Aberdeen Natural History Socierty… Printed for the Society. Aberdeen: 1870. Stapled within cream paper wrappers. Provenance: Conchological Society (presentation inscription to the society from James Simpson of Aberdeen “an indefatigable collector of Mollusca”).
