The third impression of the first edition of this classic. It is identical in all respects to the first impression apart from the statement "Third impression" under the drawing of Jock on the title page. The incorrect dung beetle drawings are still there. This is an attractive copy in the original green cloth which is only lightly edge rubbed with slight wear at the extremes. There is a light white stain at the top front corner of the rear board (see picture). Name and date on ffep. (Christmas 1907) on the ffep. Generally a very clean tight copy at a fraction of the price of a first printing in similar condition .
