Owambo Legislative Council [South West Africa]. Proceedings of the fifth session of the third council, 17-23 April 1979

This slight volume is interesting as it showed that the Owambo Council still operated during a critical period of Swapo's independence struggle.

There was already evidence of violence, however, as notes against the list of members indicate that one of the members representing Kwaluudhi was murdered on 19 March 1979, while another member representing Kolonkhadhi-Kunda was abducted on 21 April 1979.
