Each 130 mm high and 50 mm across the square bases. The tops are 53 mm in diameter. Each carved from a single piece of bone but with leaf-patterned embellishments attached to the four sides of each candlestick attached with metal pins (one is missing).

Inscribed in black, ‘Make. P.O.W. St H. 1901’ on the upper part of the stem of each candlestick.
The maker is not identified.
