A hardcover Octavo, ex library copy in its original dark green cloth covers with gilt titles and a decorative band in black to the front and spine. A sketch of the life and experiences of Honourable Charles Brownlee. He is generally accepted as having had an encyclopedic knowledge of of the lives and administration of Native Affairs. Eight preliminary plus 398 pages of text. Condition good but with shelf wear to the bottom boards and spine and spine. The book has the usual library stamps to the front few pages and there is some staining to the front cover.
