Original pink wrappers (staple stab holes, some surface soiling), loose in cream paper wrappers. The minerals, the molluscs and shells, the volcanos of Sicily. Carmelo Maravigna was a scholar of mineralogy, he was the first to describe the most characteristic minerals of Sicily, of paleontology and above all of volcanology, with particular regard to Etna. He was a professor of chemistry at the University of Catania.
