Original pink wrappers (staple stab holes, some surface soiling), loose in cream paper wrappers. The minerals, the molluscs and shells, the volcanos of Sicily. Carmelo Maravigna was a scholar of mineralogy, he was the first to describe the most characteristic minerals of Sicily, of paleontology and above all of volcanology, with particular regard to Etna. He was a professor of chemistry at the University of Catania.

(Some toning, neat repairs to outer blank margins of three leaves, creasing to  upper outer corners). Stitched (staple stab holes, some surface soiling), loose in cream paper wrappers.
