MINIATURE BOOK. – The London Almanack for the year of Christ 1791. [London:] printed for the  Company of Stationers, [1790]. 1 1/8 x 1 1/8in; 28 x 28mm. Engraved throughout, red duty stamp to title, 2pp. title + 38 pages of text. Contemporary wallet-style red morocco binding, flap and upper cover with white-metal face catch, four edges with white-metal edging, rose-colored paper endpapers, pocket at the front (some light discoloration).

The almanack is contained in a leather wallet which has a pocket at the front.The twelve-month calendar is followed by a table of the reigns of English Kings and Queens reigns, Lord Mayors and Sheriffs from the year 1767 to the year 1791, a list of holidays and of the current coinage. This small format is as issued, and is bound without the folding view found in the larger portrait format copies.
