1.R.J.L. GUPPY (1836-1916). [Drop-head title:] Observations upon the physical conditions and fauna of the Gulf of Paria. [Trinidad?: 1894?] Small octavo. Stapled into cream paper wrappers. Off-print.

2.R.J.L. GUPPY (1836-1916). [Drop-head title:] Notice of some new Marine Shells found on the Shores of Trinidad. [Trinidad?: 1869?] Small octavo. Stapled into cream paper wrappers. An extract from the ‘Proceedings of the Scientific Association of Trinidad’.

3.Charles T. RAMSDEN. [Drop-head title:] Juan Gundlach. [Trinidad?: 1894?] Small octavo. Stapled into cream paper wrappers. Off-print from the ‘Entomological News’ vol 26. A glowing survey of Gundlach’s life and work. According to Ramsden, Gundlach was ‘one of the noblest men the world has known’, who died safe in the knowledge that ‘the dreams of his life [had been] realised’.

4.Paul BIOLLEY (1833-1908). Museo Nacional. Moluscos Terrestres y Fluviatile de la meseta central de Costa Rica. San Jose, Costa Rica: 1897. Small octavo. Original tan paper wrappers bound in, early cloth-backed marbled paper-covered boards. Provenance: MCZ (bookplate noting the gift of the book from the author, blindstamps). Presentation copy.
