Arguably the first comprehensive South African language Dictionary. It was prepared  by Jacob Ludwig Döhne, who spent many years in Natal (KZN). A rare book, printed in Cape Town.

xlii, 417pp. Rebound in half leather with original marbled boards, that show some mild shelf wear. Foxed endpapers. Stamp of David Prigman and binders stamp of R Scott, Long Street, Cape Town.
