191 pages, colour frontispiece, numerous colour and black and white illustrations, brown cloth titled gilt on the upper cover and spine, a fine copy in glossy cream dust cover housed in a matching original publisher's slip case.

Esias Bosch (1923-2010) is South Africa's foremost art potter. Bosch won numerous awards during his career, including a silver medal in 1963 from the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, and he received a number of commissions during his lifetime. He participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Europe, the United States and South Africa. His work is represented in international collections and most public collections in South Africa.
