An Italian classic, nicely presented, rather beaten-up but a still attractive set with an important (but unverified) provenance: Foscolo (1778-1827) was a Greek-Italian poet, novelist, playwright, and revolutionary associated with Neoclassicism and Italian Romanticism, in fact, a key figure in modern Italian literature. he died in exile in London.
