First edition: 312 pages, profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, illustrations, maps and diagrams, black rexine titled gilt on the spine, a fine copy in the dust jacket. 

Limitations page reads: The first edition of Mahohboh is limited to 2500 copies signed by the author of which this is copy 2427. 

Editor's note: 'Mahohboh was the author's African "honour name." It was bestowed on him by an Msili Bushman tracker (Sumbe )in recognition of his elephant hunting skills. Over time, the author came to be known by this name across the length and breadth of Zimbabwe.'
