This stunning compendium describing mining laws of Great Britain and all British Colonies including chapters of The Mining Laws of the Cape of Good Hope Colony (with "The Precious Minerals Act of 1898" and "The Precious Stones Act, 1899" included); The Mining Laws of the Natal (with "The Natal Mines Act, 1899" included); The Mining Laws of the Orange River Colony (with "Precious Metals Ordinance, 1904" and "Precious Stones Ordinance, 1904" included); The Mining Laws of the Transvaal Colony (with "Mining of Precious Metals Ordinance, 1904" included) and The Mining Laws of Rhodesia (with "Partnership Arrangement with B.S.A. Co." and "The Mining Ordinance of 1903" included). This is an extremely rare copy of this precious work, hard to find even in National and University Libraries - and the only complete copy selling on internet.

Red cloth hardcovers; Text in English; Collation complete - False title, [1], Title page, [v-xii], 300 pages (including the Index); Ex-library copy. Binding is strong, tight and firm, with usual shelf wears, corners little bumped, spine and boards little faded as with age and with slight wears to the extremities. Ex-library label to bottom of the spine, library name in gilt to the front board, library stamp to the bottom page edges, two library labels to the front paste down, stamps to the front and rear free endpapers and title page, marked as withdrawn from the library to the front free enpaper. Text block/pages in excellent condition, clear and bright, no foxing or marks throughout, insignificant yellowing. A sound copy.
