This book Namibia is a product of love. For the first time in Namibia, authors and artists of different backgrounds, cultures and races pooled their talents to express their vision of their country. This was achieved by the teamwork of two publishers, Gamsberg Macmillan of Namibia and Moon Books of Italy.

This book has been crafted with particular care in each and every part by Allesandro Sartori and Fausto Olivieri under the trademark of ""analuna"" for the Italian publisher ""Moon Books Italia"", with Amy Schoeman as editor for the Namibian Publisher ""Gamsberg Macmillan"" and Massimo Baistrocchi as co-editor and mediator between the two publishers.

The edition is limited to 200 commercial copies numbered 1/200 to 200/200, and a further 30 copies numbered i/xxx to xxx/xxx reserved for the publishers, editors, authors and artists. The typesetting was done in monotone characters ""Centaur"" and printed on a planocy lindrical printing press of ""Officina Olivieri"" of Milan on hand-made paper produced from natural cotton fibres of neutrel pH manufactured by ""Cartiera di Sicilia"" of Catania. Embossing and other manual interventions are the work of Cesare Spini, while ""Bottega del Legatore"" of Ancona manually bound each copy with first-class hides.

Contributions by Koos van Ellinckhuijzen, Pompie Burger, Helene Brandt, Shiya Karuseb, Melanie Harteveld, Adelheid Lilienthal, Andrew Matjila, Joseph Madisia, Ndasuunye Papa and Trudi Dicks.

This book is not paginated. It includes chapters on Rock Art in Namibia, recent Namibian history, political history, Namibia and the German-speaking population, people of Namibia, exploration, animal mosaic, cultural development of the visual arts, sounds and symbols of the Namibian musical landscapes.
