We are offering here a complete 3 volumes set titled "Portugal in Contemporary Africa" consisted of three consecutive volumes - "South Africa, neighbor of Portugal" from 1971; "The former protectorates of Lesotho, Botswana, and Swaziland" from 1973; and "Rhodesia" from 1974.

This Portuguese historical account is a valuable source of information on the Portuguese South Eastern Africa and South Africa.

Volume I: Africa do Sul vizinha de Portugal; Volume II: Os antigos protectorados de Lesoto, Botswana e Swazilandia; Volume III: A Rodésia,"; Softcover; Text in Portuguese; Collation complete - Vol. 1: Title page, 654 pages; Vol. 2: Title page, 351 pages, with map; Vol. 3: Title page, 638 pages, with map; Binding is tight and firm, with shelf wear and wears from the use, but overall in good condition. Little bumped to the extremities and with a few surface scratches, minor scuffing and chipped to the few places at spine extremities. Little dusty with some discoloration, foxing and tanning. Corners bumped, some pages of the text block dog-eared. Pages/text block of the Volume 1 and 2 bright and clear, no foxing or annotations. Volume 3 with a slight tanning to most of the text block, first twenty pages partly foxed and some pages with minor marginal light foxing dots.
