First Edition: 367 pages, woodcut printer's device on the title page, original black cloth titled gilt and decorated gilt on the spine, light staining on the endpapers from moisture in the boards at the time of printing, a very good copy in the dust jacket which is lightly worn and with dust soiling along the edges and a one centimetre line in ink at the top left of the front panel - the jacket is printed on thick stock paper and spirit varnished, designed by Ronald Clyne, price clipped and with a stamp at the top of the front flap - Price in Canada $3.95.
The colophon on the final unnumbered page reads, 'Three thousand copies of this book have been printed from Intertype Garamond by the Collegiate Press, George Banta Publishing Company, Menasha, Wisconsin. The paper is Winnebago Eggshell and the binding cloth is Holliston Black Novelex. The jacket design is the work of Ronald Clyne'
