Limitations page reads: The first edition of Mahohboh is limited to 2500 copies signed by the author of which this is copy 2427. 

Editor's note: 'Mahohboh was the author's African "honour name." It was bestowed on him by an Msili Bushman tracker (Sumbe )in recognition of his elephant hunting skills. Over time, the author came to be known by this name across the length and breadth of Zimbabwe.'
