Unclipped, colour-illustrated dustjacket, green cloth-boards with gilt-embossed lettering to the upper panel, plain endpapers, b/w portrait of Lieutenant-Colonel J North Crealock, CB, 95th Regiment (from the Illustrated London News) as frontispiece, limitation page (copy 996 of one thousand copies), 14 unpaginated pp of illustrated prelims + 36 further unpaginated pp with 67 b/w and colour illustrations and captions.

CONDITION. The dustjacket is complete, clean on the faces but chipped and rubbed at the spine, the flap-folds and the lower edges. The covers are unmarked and fine. The endpapers are unmarked but sunned in register with the dustjacket flaps. The contents are complete and fine, unmarked and undiscoloured, making this a near-fine copy overall in a fair to good dustjacket.
