'If you are fishing in Zimbabwe, and wish to give yourself an edge, then this is one book that you need to have as part of your equipment.
The chapters covering the various species have been written by some of Zimbabwe's leading fishermen, with both the beginner and the more experienced anglers in mind. The text is comprehensive without being complicated.
The whole of Zimbabwe is covered with dams selected from all provinces - from fishing for Trout in the Eastern Highlands, all-species angling on public and private waters, to the challenge of catching fish in the mighty Zambezi River and Lake Kariba.
There are excellent colour photographs of the various species, technical advice on rods, reels, lines, baits, both artificial and live, and numerous other items of fishing equipment, as well as line drawings on how to set up the terminal tackle, and by no means least, maps of various dams to fish and how to get there.' - from the foreword
